Quality Inspector

A global manufacturing group supplying complex piping to the Marine and Energy sectors is opening a new site and has a new vacancy for a Quality Inspector to join the rapidly growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring products comply with customer & industry requirements and applicants are sought with a proven track record of inspection and quality control gained in a highly regulated industry.

The Role

• Inspect and verify incoming materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks and measurements in line with company procedures.
• Identify defects, non-conformances and quality issues.
• Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
• Work closely with production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Ensure all inspections comply with company policies and relevant industry requirements.

The Role

• Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Inspection qualification (CSWIP, PCN)
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to identify and report quality issues
