Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Belfast, who are currently seeking a Production Supervisor.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support the smooth running of day-to-day production operations. You will supervise production teams, ensuring targets around output, quality, efficiency, and safety are met.

Duties

• Supervising the day-to-day activities of the welding and fabrication team
• Setting clear daily priorities and allocating work to meet production plans and customer deadlines
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards.
• Liaising with technical, engineering, and planning teams to help maintain efficient factory operations.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and highlighting opportunities to improve efficiency.

Essential

• At least 2 years experience in an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team of welders, fabricators or similar skilled production employees
• Experience of working with production targets, KPIs and performance measures
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise production activities
