We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team in supporting a young wheelchair user with Muscular Dystrophy. This role involves assisting him both at home and while he’s at work, so a degree of flexibility is required.
Start Date: Immediate start availablePay Rate: £15 per hourShifts: 2 days per week (Flexibility required) with view of covering more shifts if needed.Hours: 7:30 am until 7:30 pm (12 hours)Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

About the JobDuties would include:Providing comprehensive support in daily activities, both at home and during outingsDriving the client’s automatic vehicleLight housework and meal preparationOffering personal care assistanceAssisting during social outings
Previous care experience is not necessary; comprehensive training will be provided. For the right person, our client may offer more working hours in the future.
About YouHold a clean Automatic driving licence (Essential)Comfortable around Cats and DogsReside locally in the ST3 areaBe motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, proactive and organised.Demonstrate initiative and flexibilityHave excellent communication skills and be a good listenerWork well both independently and in a teamBe fluent in English and present yourself in a smart and professional mannerExhibit patience, kindness, and a friendly demeanor.
