Were recruiting for a Counselling Manager to join an established, fast-paced counselling service in Salford .
The role:
Youll lead and support a team of counsellors, with responsibility for: Team management and staff developmentClinical, safeguarding and risk oversightSupporting complex and high-risk casesKPIs, quality and performance1:1s and performance reviewsSafeguarding and escalationSupporting team wellbeing and developmentThe service supports adults and their families across a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression and bereavement, alongside trauma, suicidal ideation, safeguarding concerns and complex risk .Who were looking for: Were open to different backgrounds. You could already be an experienced Counselling Manager , or a Senior Counsellor, Supervisor or Clinical Lead ready to move into management.
Were also interested in Counsellors with previous people management experience , even if that experience was gained outside of counselling.
Youll need: A recognised Counselling or Psychotherapy qualificationBACP, NCPS or equivalent professional membershipPrevious counselling / psychotherapy experienceExperience managing people, supervising staff or leading a teamKnowledge of safeguarding and riskConfidence managing performance, KPIs and difficult conversationsWhats on offer:£36,000 – £40,000 per annumMonday to Friday , mainly 9am-5pmOne weekday 12pm-8pmOccasional weekend coverContribution towards professional supervisionProfessional membership supportCPD and career developmentBirthday leavePensionLife insuranceEmployee wellbeing supportWhy apply?
