Job Description:
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust seeks a Band 6 nurse to join the OPAT team on a fixed-term basis. The post involves assessing care needs for patients requiring ongoing IV antibiotics at home after discharge from the acute trust.
The role includes conducting competency assessments and supporting outpatient and inpatient pathways. Under supervision, you will collate data, support admission portals, and liaise with the MDT on antibiotic strategies and antimicrobial stewardship.
