Requirements:

• Strong Mac experience with a strong focus on macOS support
• Good foundation in IT support
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work in a predominantly Apple environment
• Experience with IT ticketing/service management systems
• Experience with user access management
• Experience with hardware provisioning and support
• Microsoft Entra ID experience is desirable
• Cisco experience is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day desktop support to approximately 150 users in our London office
• Act as a key point of contact for IT support within the office
• Manage and resolve tickets through our IT ticketing system
• Provide face-to-face and walk-up support
• Manage user access and permissions
• Set up new users and equipment
• Support onboarding and offboarding
• Prepare, configure and troubleshoot laptops and other hardware
• Deal with general IT requests and user issues
• Troubleshoot Mac and Windows devices
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation
• Provide a friendly, professional and responsive service to users
• Support senior stakeholders and VIP users when required

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with a strong Mac focus to join our IT team in London on an initial 3-month contract, working 5 days onsite. The role is inside IR35 and starts ASAP. Our environment is predominantly Apple-based, with around 90% Mac and 10% Windows, using macOS and Apple hardware. This is a great opportunity for a technically capable Desktop Support Engineer who enjoys hands-on support, working with users, and providing a professional service. We also offer the opportunity to support senior stakeholders and VIP users when required.
