ARM are delighted to be working with our client to help them recruit a Commercial Manager on a 4 month contract.

The Role:

• Acting as the key commercial interface between Procurement & Commercial and business stakeholders.
• Managing multiple sourcing and procurement projects simultaneously.
• Running tender exercises and single-source procurements.
• Managing supplier negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms and conditions.
• Drafting contracts and supporting contract template development.
• Delivering value for money through benchmarking, cost analysis and commercial recommendations.
• Maintaining sourcing pipelines and ensuring procurement data is accurate and up to date.
• Supporting colleagues and sharing commercial best practice across the wider team.

Requirements:

• Experience negotiating supplier contracts, rates, terms and conditions.
• Ability to secure commercial value and manage spend effectively
• Ability to build strong relationships across business functions.
• Experience working autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within a public sector environment
• CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
