3 Peaks Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Executive to join their team in Limavady.
This is a newly created position offering the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of weekly and monthly payroll processing while helping to develop and improve payroll systems, processes and controls as the business continues to grow.
The Role
Youll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of UK payrolls across a sizeable workforce, including:
- End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Payroll for hourly paid and salaried employees
- Overtime, shift allowances, variable pay and deductions
- PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments
- Payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- HMRC submissions including FPS and EPS
- Pension and auto-enrolment administration
- Year-end payroll processes including P60s
- Maintaining payroll and time & attendance systems
- Working closely with HR, Finance and operational teams
- Supporting improvements to payroll processes, accuracy and automation
Ideally, youll have:
- 5+ years experience within high-volume UK payroll
- Experience processing both weekly and monthly payrolls
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments and deductions
- Experience managing payroll for an hourly paid workforce, including overtime and shift patterns
- Experience with payroll and time & attendance systems
- Sage Payroll/Sage Micropay experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight payroll deadlines
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production or another high-volume environment would be particularly advantageous.
