Salary/Benefits

  • £50,000 – £60,000 starting salary + commission structure (to be discussed at interview)
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
  • Maternity cover contract with potential for future opportunities

About you

  • Proven leadership experience in a commercial and operational role within the print, design, or creative industry
  • Strong understanding of revenue growth, margin management, budgeting, and cost control
  • Experience in client relationship management at senior levels
  • Ability to develop and lead high-performing, motivated sales and operational teams
  • Strategic thinker with innovative approach to business development and service enhancement
  • Confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills and commercial acumen

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the commercial and operational activities across three business areas
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue, margins, and business growth
  • Lead, motivate, and grow a sales team to generate new business and retain existing clients
  • Drive the development of premium brand design and print services including digital and large-format offerings
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets
  • Play a key role within the wider management team, contributing to strategic planning and company growth
  • Promote a digitised, efficient workflow and continuously improve SOPs to enhance productivity and service delivery
