BlairHouse is looking to recruit a registered nurse days and nights tojoin the team. This is a full time role of 37.5hours.
Blair House is located in Billinghay. Ourhome offers residential and nursing support for 27 males andfemales with a primary learning disability diagnosis. We are in asemi-rural location, surrounded by beautifulcountryside.
What you’ll bedoing
You will be part of acompassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. Wetake a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help peoplemove forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfillingfuture. As a registered nurse, you will play a key part in theirrecovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment andimplementation of individual patient care plans, undertakingroutine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitatewellbeing, dignity and treatment ofresidents.
- Deliver prescribed careto a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and theircarer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choiceand wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order toassess need and evaluate progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.

The rolerequires a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 6-12months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration,and completion of a preceptorship program. Candidates should have athorough knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professionalpractices, along with evidence of continuing professionaldevelopment. A positive attitude and commitment to change,improvement, and quality are essential, as is the ability todevelop and apply flexible and innovative approaches to practice.Additionally, a minimum of six months’ post-registration experiencewithin a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment isrequired, with evidence of continued professional development inthe relevant field.
