Working arrangement: Fully office based
The Graduate Project is working with a professional organisation in the City of London to recruit an IT Support Technician on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous first-line IT support experience who enjoys providing hands‑on technical support in a busy office environment. You will support colleagues with day‑to‑day IT issues and help ensure meeting‑room technology, presentations and events run smoothly.
The role
- Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the organisation
- Set up, test and troubleshoot IT and meeting-room equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions and events
- Support video conferencing technology, including Microsoft Teams
- Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras and other equipment
- Assist users with hardware, software, connectivity and general IT queries
- Log, manage and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
- Maintain IT equipment, including recording faults, repairs and asset information
- Liaise with external suppliers where specialist support or repairs are required
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused support service to users at all levels
- Previous experience in an IT Support Technician, IT Support, Service Desk or AV Support role
- Proven first-line IT support experience is essential
- Confident troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity and meeting-room technology
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar video-conferencing platforms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a fully office-based role
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
