About the Role

n

WRM Media is looking for an Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Executive to manage the day-to-day operation of our ecommerce brands.

n

This is a varied, hands-on role covering ecommerce website management, customer service, digital marketing, social media and affiliate relationships.

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping our Shopify stores running effectively, updating website content and products, responding to customer queries and helping manage the day-to-day digital activity across our brands.

n

The role would suit someone who is confident with technology, organised and comfortable solving problems independently.

Key Responsibilities

n

    n

  • Manage the day-to-day running of WRM Media's ecommerce websites.
  • n

  • Maintain and update Shopify stores, including products, content, imagery and website information.
  • n

  • Deal with customer enquiries and resolve ecommerce-related issues.
  • n

  • Monitor websites and identify and resolve problems where possible.
  • n

  • Create and schedule social media content across company brands.
  • n

  • Assist with the creation and management of social media advertising campaigns.
  • n

  • Manage relationships and communications with affiliates.
  • n

  • Make routine updates to website content and promotional material.
  • n

  • Assist with email marketing and digital campaigns.
  • n

  • Work with images and basic graphics for websites, social media and marketing.
  • n

  • Provide general IT support within the office, including diagnosing straightforward computer, software and printer issues.
  • n

  • Assist with other ecommerce and digital projects as required.
  • n

Essential Skills

n

    n

  • Strong general IT skills and confidence using computers and online systems.
  • n

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • n

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer, software and printer problems.
  • n

  • Strong written communication skills, particularly when dealing with customers.
  • n

  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • n

  • Comfortable learning new software and systems.
  • n

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities without constant supervision.
  • n

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial, although training can be provided:

  • Shopify.

  • Ecommerce website management.

  • Adobe Photoshop.

  • Graphic design.

  • Social media management.

  • Social media advertising.

  • Email marketing.

  • HTML and building/editing marketing emails.

  • Affiliate marketing.

What We're Looking For

n

We're looking for someone practical and technically confident who is comfortable taking responsibility for the everyday running of several ecommerce websites.

n

You don't need to be a developer, but you should be the type of person who can recognise when something isn't working, investigate the problem and either fix it or work out what needs to happen next.

n

The role covers several different areas, so being adaptable, organised and comfortable switching between customer service, website management, marketing and technical tasks is important.
