Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing and ambitious engineering business based in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied range of projects and project scales, contributing to the design and development of residential and development schemes. Essential:
- Proven experience in Civil Design Engineering Development or house builder design experience
- Experience with site set-up, roads and sewers design
- Expert-level Autodesk Civil 3D
- Expert-level Autodesk AutoCAD
- Experience using Autodesk InfoDrainage
- Experience using Site3D
- Experience using Causeway Flow
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
Desirable:
- CEng / MICE qualification
- Currently working towards CEng / MICE
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering schemes across a range of project types and scales
- Undertake site set-up and civil infrastructure design
- Design roads and sewers for development projects
- Produce detailed designs using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Design and develop drainage systems using Autodesk InfoDrainage
- Produce accurate technical drawings, models and design information
- Work across residential and development projects from initial design through to detailed design
- Collaborate with engineers, clients and project teams to deliver successful designs
- Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and project requirements

- Have strong technical communication and problem‑solving skills
