Are you from a Mechanical Engineering background looking for full industry training, clear progression in a hands-on field role and the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime? Do you want to build specialist skills installing premium garage workshop equipment for prestigious sites?
This is a permanent position with a well-established garage equipment business, offering full internal training into the industry plus external manufacturer training when available, so you can become a recognised specialist and progress long-term.
You’ll be joining a close-knit engineering team where development is genuinely supported, working with a range of clients from independent garages to national dealership networks and sports car workshops.
The Role:
- Installation of garage workshop equipment on customer sites
- Field-based role covering a regional patch (primarily M1 corridor), working in a team of two
- Mon‑Fri with overtime, no call outs and door‑to‑door pay
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineer background (e.g. ex‑forces, forklifts, automotive, garage equipment or similar)
- Happy with regional travel and occasional stays away when jobs exceed ~2.5 hours travel
- Motivated by training and progression (Senior Engineer ? Team Lead) and wants a long‑term role
