Job Description:

Corporate Tax Compliance Associate Director

At a Glance

  • Belfast, hybrid working available
  • Genuine international exposure, particularly US-facing work

About the Company

A large, global professional services practice with a genuinely fast-growing Belfast operation, increasingly recognised as one of the standout growth stories in the local market. Whilst remaining firmly rooted as a firm doing exciting work across NI and ROI, the firm has grown massively in recent years on the international front, with a growing volume of work carrying a significant international reach, particularly from a US perspective. This is a firm building genuine scale and depth while still very much invested in its local market presence.

The Role

This is a senior, client-facing Corporate Tax Compliance role, with genuine ownership of a significant client portfolio and a real seat in shaping how the compliance function grows. The client base spans a strong local market presence and a growing volume of corporate compliance work supporting an expanding international client base across the US, EMEA and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a significant portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients, including internationally exposed businesses
  • Provide senior technical review and sign-off on corporation tax computations and returns
  • Build and lead client relationships at a senior level, identifying broader advisory opportunities
  • Play a leading role in team development, technical training and process improvement
  • Support business development and growth of the compliance practice

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Significant corporate tax compliance experience at senior Manager or Associate Director level
  • Proven ability to manage and grow senior client relationships
  • Strong people leadership and development experience

Desirable:

  • Experience with internationally exposed or US-linked clients

Why Apply

  • Genuine client-facing seniority, not a back-office delivery function
  • Growing exposure to international and US-facing client work
  • Clear, structured progression beyond Associate Director
  • Flexible hybrid working
