A leading commercial law firm is looking to strengthen its Banking & Finance team with the appointment of one or more Solicitors.
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded practice and work on a broad and sophisticated range of banking and finance matters, acting for a diverse client base of lenders, borrowers, financial institutions and corporates.
The team has an excellent platform of work and is looking for talented Banking & Finance lawyers who want to develop their expertise, take on meaningful responsibility and build their careers within a strong commercial environment.
The Role
You will work across a varied Banking & Finance caseload, with exposure to matters including:
- Secured and unsecured lending
- Acquisition and asset finance
- Corporate and commercial lending
- Refinancing and restructuring
- Loan and facility documentation
- Security documentation
- Banking aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency
- Complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders
You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and clients, gaining exposure to transactions from start to finish and developing both your technical and commercial experience.
The Candidate
We are looking for qualified Banking & Finance Solicitors with approximately 1-7 years’ PQE and a genuine interest in developing their careers within this area.
You will ideally have experience advising lenders, borrowers or financial institutions and be comfortable working with finance documentation and security arrangements.
The firm is particularly interested in candidates who are:
- Commercially minded and client-focused
- Technically strong, with good drafting and negotiation skills
- Proactive and able to take ownership of their work
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
- Keen to develop their technical expertise and take on greater responsibility
