As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be one of the first faces our customers see, offering a warm welcome and trusted support with their healthcare needs. You will work closely with our pharmacists and dispensing team to ensure a high standard of service at every step.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and handle enquiries in a friendly, professional manner
• Assist with the sale of over-the-counter medicines, offering advice within your training
• Support the dispensing team with prescription processing and stock management
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented pharmacy environment
• Handle till transactions accurately and manage day-to-day administrative tasks
• Signpost customers to the appropriate healthcare professional when needed

What we’re looking for

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A caring, approachable manner with a genuine interest in helping others
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
• A reliable team player who can also use their initiative
• Previous pharmacy or retail experience is beneficial, though full training will be provided
• Willingness to work towards a recognised pharmacy qualification if not already held
