WearerecruitingforaClaimsAdjuster-FinancialLinesonbehalfofourclient,ahighlyregarded Lloyd’s Syndicate.
ThesuccessfulcandidatewillprovidefullclaimshandlingactivitiesinrespectofclaimsemanatingfromtheFinancialLinesportfolio,includingProfessionalIndemnity,Directors&OfficersLiability,FinancialInstitutionsandA&H(desirable but not essential).
KeyResponsibilities
- Reviewingandanalysingclaimswhenfirstpresentedthroughtosettlement.
- Consideringcoverageforclaims,referringtoSeniorManagementwhereappropriate.
- Consideringallaspectsofclaims,includingliabilityandlikelyquantum,appointingAdjusters,Lawyersorotherserviceproviders.
- Settingandmaintainingappropriatereserveattheearliestpossiblejuncturethroughoutthelifeofclaims.
KeyRequirements
- FinancialLinesclaimshandlingexperiencewithinaLloyd’sorCompanyenvironment.
- WorkingtowardsorcompletedCIIqualifications.
- Abilitytonegotiatetoamutuallysuccessfuloutcome.
- Ishighlyself-motivatedwiththeabilitytoworkindependently.
- Solidanalytical,anddecisionmakingabilities.
- Strongorganisationalandtimemanagementskills.
- Extensiveknowledgeofwordingsandkeyclaimsissueslikelytoariseinthisbusinesssegment.
