We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join a Looked after Children Team, paying £38 per hour!

About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social worker to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people in care, while working within a supportive and established local authority team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload ofLooked After Children and young people.
• Undertake assessments and develop effective care plans.
• Ensure children are safeguarded and their needs are consistently met.
• Conduct statutory visits and reviews in line with legislation and local authority procedures.
• Work closely with children, young people, families, foster carers and other professionals.
• Prepare reports and contribute toLooked After Children Reviewsand care planning meetings.
• Support permanence planning and promote positive outcomes for children.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with professional standards.
