Facilities Management including Cleaning Caretaker New Mills, Derbyshire Up to £13.21 / hour

About the Role

Based at New Mills Nursery School, High Peak, SK22 4AQ, you will be working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00am – 8:00am and 4:00pm – 5:30pm.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality caretaking services, helping to oversee site maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Unlocking and locking up of the school
• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and hygienic
• Carrying out basic checks and light maintenance
• Supporting overall site cleanliness and presentation
