The Role
Aspire People are looking for a Food Technology Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Cardiff on a full-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in Food Technology, Catering, Hospitality or Education who enjoys supporting young people in a practical learning environment.
? The Role Includes
- Supporting students during Food Technology lessons
- Assisting with practical cooking and food preparation activities
- ? Supporting the Food Technology teacher with classroom activities
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
- Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised practical classroom
- Encouraging students to develop confidence and practical skills
We’re Looking For
- Experience or qualifications in Food Technology, Catering or Hospitality is desirable
- ? Practical cooking or food preparation experience
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- A patient, supportive and positive approach
- Strong awareness of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
