Private Client Tax Manager

Your new company n A leading accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join its established tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of individuals, business owners and high-net-worth clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your new role n You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients while supporting the delivery of high-quality tax advice and ensuring compliance obligations aremet.

n Key responsibilities will include:

n

• Managing a portfolio of private clients and acting as a key point of contact.

n

• Delivering a mixture of personal tax compliance and advisory work.

n

• Identifying tax planning opportunities and wider tax risks for clients.

n

• Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.

n

• Managing workflow and ensuring all HMRC deadlines are met.

n

• Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance and support.

n

• Working closely with colleagues across the wider tax team on complex client matters.

n

• Monitoring portfolio performance, productivity and profitability.

n

n

What you'll need to succeed n To be successful in this role, you will be CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with previous experience working within private client or personal tax.

n You will also demonstrate:

• Experience managing a portfolio of private client tax matters.

n

• Strong technical personal tax knowledge.

n

• Exposure to both compliance and advisory work.

n

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

n

• The ability to research and interpret complex areas of tax legislation.

n

• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues.

n

• A commercial and client-focused approach.
