About the company and role
Join a rapidly growing and innovative business operating within an exciting and expanding sector. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role within the finance team, supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and analysis across a growing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and gain greater ownership across the management accounts process.
What’s involved:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Producing P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules
- Preparing journals and completing reconciliations
- Supporting financial analysis and reporting
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and year-end
- Supporting payroll, VAT and audit requirements
Requirements:
- Newly qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Commercial and proactive approach
