Bench Joiner

We are working with a well-established bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturer specialising in high-end projects.

They are looking for an experienced Freelance Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in producing high-quality, bespoke work from drawings through to finished product.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke joinery and furniture within a workshop environment.
• Work from technical drawings, specifications and cutting lists.
• Use a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Manufacture and assemble cabinets, furniture and specialist joinery.
• Work with veneers, laminates, solid timber and other materials.
• Produce high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail.
• Work on projects including fitted furniture, cabinetry, reception desks, wall panelling and bespoke joinery.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker within bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of woodworking materials, construction methods and finishes.
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in high-end residential or commercial joinery would be advantageous.
