Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Lloyd’s Insurer – £750-850 per day – Inside IR35 – 6 months.

Insurance experience required for this role.

My Insurance client is looking for a hands-on Senior IT Project Manager with insurance platform implementation experience and a genuine technical pedigree.

The ideal person will have:

• Delivered an end-to-end Policy or Claims platform implementation within insurance.
• Started their career in a technical discipline — e.g. Development, Architecture, Data, Technical BA — before moving into Project/Programme Management.
• Strong experience across data migration, integrations, vendors and testing, including SIT, E2E and UAT.
• Managed multiple workstreams at once across vendor, internal technology, business and testing teams.
• Enough technical understanding to spot issues early, challenge teams and drive resolution themselves, rather than simply escalating problems.
• Credibility with senior/C-level stakeholders in complex organisations.

The programme is the UK implementation of claims technology, with roughly 30–40 people involved and around 500 users, with the potential to become a wider global rollout.
