The OldRectory is a residential service, which is located in the villageof Brede, in East Sussex. We support 15 males and females who areautistic or have a learning disability. The service is located in asemi-rural location, surrounded by beautifulcountryside.

Whatyou’ll be doing
Are you passionateabout delivering outstanding care and inspiring others? We’relooking for a compassionate Deputy Home Manager to support the HomeManager in leading our dedicated team. You’ll helpensure our home remains a safe, warm, and welcoming environment forresidents and families while guiding and supporting colleagues todeliver the highest standards of care. This role isideal for an experienced care leader who is confident makingdecisions, committed to team development, and ready to take thenext step in their career. This roleis split to do 8 hours supernumerary and 32 hours on thefloor. What You’llBe Doing:
- Supporting the HomeManager to make sure our home runs smoothly and always meetsregulatory standards (CQC/RQIA).
- Leading,guiding, and inspiring the senior care team to provide outstanding,person-centred support.
- Building strongrelationships with residents, families, colleagues, and externalprofessionals.
- Holding regular staff meetings,keeping communication open and positive.
- Helping new staff settle in with thorough inductions,ongoing training, and plenty of encouragement.
- Overseeing risk assessments and safety checks to makesure our home is safe and compliant.
- Playing akey role in quality checks and audits, always looking for ways wecan improve.
- Working alongside regionalmanagers to develop and introduce new ideas andservices.
- Ensuring our staff feel valued,supported, and motivated to do their very best.

- You’ve worked as a SeniorSupport Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager and are ready forthe next step.

- You’re organised, proactive, andconfident in managing the practical side of care (risk assessments,audits, compliance).
