Joshua Robert are working with a leading global real estate advisory business as they look to appoint a senior Project Management professional at Partner / Director level, with a particular focus on large scale retail projects.

This is a significant senior appointment for an individual who wants to play a genuine role in developing a growing platform, bringing their own experience, relationships and commercial capability to the business.

The Opportunity
n
The successful individual will take a senior position within the Project Management team, focusing on major retail and mixed use projects across the UK.
n
n
The role will suit an established Project Director, Partner or Senior Project Manager who has built a strong reputation in the retail sector and is looking for an opportunity where they can have greater influence over clients, projects, team development and future growth.

You will have the opportunity to:

- n
- Lead major and complex retail projects from inception through to completion
- Develop and strengthen relationships with institutional investors, developers, landlords and occupiers
- Win new instructions and contribute to the continued growth of the Project Management offering
- Act as a senior representative of the business with key clients and market contacts
- Lead and mentor project management professionals within the wider team
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider retail, hospitality and leisure platform
- Help shape the future direction and growth of the service

The Projects
n
The focus will be on significant and complex retail projects, potentially including:

- n
- Shopping centres
- Retail parks
- Major high street assets
- Large scale refurbishment and redevelopment
- Major capital expenditure programmes
- Landlord and occupier projects
- Mixed use developments

n
The successful individual will bring the technical capability to lead complex projects, but equally importantly will have the commercial confidence and relationships to help grow the business.

What We're Looking For
n
We are keen to speak with established senior Project Management professionals who can demonstrate:
n
- n
- Significant Project Management experience within commercial property
- Strong experience delivering large scale retail projects
- Ideally MRICS or an equivalent professional qualification
- A strong track record working with institutional investors, landlords, developers or occupiers
- Existing senior client relationships and a demonstrable ability to generate work
- Experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commercial and business development capability
- The credibility and confidence to operate at Partner / Director level
- A genuine interest in developing people, clients and a wider service offering
