If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.The Warehouse Operative is an integral element of the day to day operational functionality delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within a Kuehne+Nagel warehouse environment.This role is rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.How you create impact Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, the processing of returns and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned Computer based tasks as requiredComply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working areaActively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideasOperate to trained work instructionsAdhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct PolicyComply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplaceAchieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracyAdopt KN Compass behavioursFollow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard processRequirement to work at height in a safe and effective manner in line with training providedThe individual will be employed as a part of a multi-skilled warehouse teamWhat we would like you to bringExperience of working to agreed targetsPC literateMHE licence (where applicable)Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loadingAbility to work individually or as part of a teamReliable and committed to attending work on timeGood Communication skillsAbility to achieve a high level of accuracyHigh attention to detailWhat’s in it for you As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.You will be respected and valued if you work for us and have genuine opportunities to progress and develop.
