Chief Editor, The Economic Journal

The Royal Economic Society invites applications for Editor-in-Chief of The Economic Journal. The role begins summer 2027 and the appointee will serve two consecutive 3-year terms, leading editorial policies and the journal’s strategic development.

Reporting to the RES Publications Committee, the Editor-in-Chief will oversee editors, the Editorial Office, the publisher, and ethical standards, ensuring international standing and scholarly excellence.
