Founding Product Marketing Manager

London (Shoreditch) | Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in office | Up to £105,000

A growing B2B SaaS business is hiring a Founding Product Marketing Manager to establish and lead its product marketing function.

This is a high-impact IC role for someone who enjoys building from scratch: shaping product narratives, bringing launches to market, enabling commercial teams, and creating the foundations of a scalable PMM function.

What’s in it for you?

  • Build a product marketing function from scratch

  • Shape the company’s product launches, positioning, and sales enablement

  • Work closely with senior marketing, product, and commercial leaders

  • Potential to grow into people leadership as the marketing team expands

The role

Reporting to the CMO, you’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and senior leadership.

You will:

  • Own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for product releases

  • Partner with Product to turn roadmap updates into clear customer and commercial narratives

  • Rebuild sales‑enablement materials, including battlecards and objection‑handling guides

  • Map the buyer journey and ensure consistent messaging across each stage

  • Develop competitor and market insight to inform positioning

  • Build the processes, assets, and roadmap for product marketing as the function grows

  • Present ideas clearly and gain buy-in across technical and commercial stakeholders

To be successful as the Product Marketing Manager, all you need to have is:

  • 4+ years’ B2B Product marketing experience product within SaaS or tech

  • Startup or scale-up experience, ideally having built PMM capability in an ambiguous environment

  • PMM experience across two businesses, or a strong founding PMM background

  • Commercially minded, hands‑on, and comfortable without an existing playbook

  • Able to influence Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams

Join at a pivotal stage and define how a growing SaaS business takes its products to market – building a function, influencing senior leaders, and seeing your work make a visible commercial impact.
