Technical Consultant – Backup & Security – Hybrid in London

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Consultant to join on a hybrid basis in London, working closely with customers post-sale to support and secure their backup and security environments. The role blends technical delivery with customer-facing responsibility, ensuring clients get ongoing value and protection from their backup and Microsoft security tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and advise customers on backup and data protection solutions (Acronis or similar platforms), ensuring environments are configured, maintained, and performing correctly




• Provide guidance across the Microsoft security platform, helping customers strengthen their security posture




• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers, building relationships and driving adoption and satisfaction




• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating and coordinating with internal teams where required




• Identify gaps or risks in customer environments and recommend improvements

Top 5 Skills

• Backup platform knowledge (Acronis or similar)




• Familiarity with the Microsoft Security Platform




• Customer success or technical account management experience




• All three of the above ideal; any two is the minimum bar to be considered




• Operational/internal IT background is a plus – training provided for skill gaps

Contract Details:

• Salary: £45,000




• Location: Hybrid in London




• Role Type: Permanent
