Job Description:

Senior Practitioner needed for our Mental Health & Substance Misuse team in Hastings, paying £40 ph!

As a Senior Practitioner, you will:

Hold and manage a caseload of working-age adults with complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
Provide high-quality social work practice and professional support to colleagues.
Support the Practice Manager with theeffective day-to-day running of the team.
Providestaff supervisionand contribute to the development of practitioners.
Promote excellent professional standards, safeguarding and person-centred practice.
Use IT systems andperformance reports/datato monitor and support team performance.
Work collaboratively with health, social care and other partner agencies.
Respond positively and effectively to ahigh-demand environment, managing competing priorities and working at pace.

You will be an experienced social care professional with:

SignificantSenior Social Worker/Senior Practitioner experience.
Essential experience working withinadult mental health and substance misuse services.
Proven experience ofstaff supervision.
Strong knowledge of social work practice, safeguarding and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Competent IT skills and the ability to interpret and use performance information.
A positive, supportive and solution-focused approach.
The ability to work confidently in a busy environment and manage competing demands.
