Information Governance Specialist

The Lancaster City Council is seeking an Information Governance Officer to join the Information Governance Team in Lancaster. The role supports the IG Manager by interpreting and applying information governance codes of practice and legislation in a practical, understandable way.

The successful candidate will manage information requests under GDPR, DPA, FOIA, EIR and Insolvency, provide advice to colleagues, and help embed best practice across services in a small team environment.
