Customer Service Manager
Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Salary: £45K
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm or 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
Fully officed based
We are recruiting for our client, a well-established business looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and develop their internal sales team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys motivating people, improving processes and making a real difference to the customer experience. You will play a key role in supporting the team, driving performance and helping the wider business achieve its goals.
What you will be doing
- Lead, motivate and develop the internal sales team
- Set and monitor KPIs, targets and performance reviews
- Support sales growth and maintain strong commercial awareness
- Build excellent customer relationships and understand their needs
- Work closely with sales, logistics, warehousing and other departments to ensure a smooth service
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and make things work more efficiently
- Organise training and support the development of team members
- Use CRM systems to maintain accurate information and support the department
What we are looking for
- Previous management experience within customer service or internal sales
- Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
- Experience using CRM systems, with Kerridge being a bonus
- A commercial mindset and strong customer focus
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact
