Responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate bookings for studios.
- Organise reception staff for out‑of‑hours meet and greets.
- Liaise with radio planning to ensure smooth running of studios.
- Liaise with production teams to ascertain any requirements needed by guests or interviewees.
- Allocate hot desks for visiting staff members.
- Raise work orders and follow financial processes/reporting requirements.
- Compile and issue building user guides.
- Work closely with the on‑site team to ensure successful operation of the reception area at all times.
- Ensure enquiries are completed to satisfaction and closed out within the appropriate timescale.
- Carry out proactive checks throughout the day on all aspects of the business.
- Undertake quality and KPI audits.
- Responsible for incident management reporting and implementing escalation procedures as required.
- Act as incident control officer/fire warden during a fire evacuation.
- Liaise with the client locally on a daily basis.
- Monitor and manage customer perception and satisfaction.
- Maintain first aid supplies for common areas.
- Assist BBC staff with minor office moves.
- Ensure waste management meets BBC/workplace targets.
- Serve as on‑site liaison between contractors and the permit office.
- Ensure site signage is current and compliant.
- Assist visitors, audience members, VIPs and the general public in using the reception space and site.
- Keep the reception diary up to date to ensure smooth running of the system.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock supplies.
