Senior Manager, Commercial Finance – Tech

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Finance – Technology to join our team in Chelsea, London. The role will play a key part in driving the commercial finance agenda for Liberty Global Technology.

What will you be doing?

• Plan and manage the end‑to‑end cost profile of Liberty Technology, partnering with key technology stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic advisor, converting financial data into actionable insights that shape decision‑making and drive accountability.
• Challenge business leaders to uncover cost efficiencies and unlock commercial opportunities, balancing financial discipline with growth ambitions.
• Design and embed KPI frameworks to measure functional effectiveness, profitability and cost efficiency, linking to value creation.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analyses – variance, trend and sensitivity – to anticipate risks and optimise business outcomes.
• Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, providing commercial and financial guidance.
• Continuously enhance planning, reporting and forecasting processes, leveraging technology, automation and AI to improve speed, accuracy and impact.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and identifying new efficiencies and insights.

We tend to look for people with:

• Exceptional communication, presentation and storytelling skills, influencing senior leaders and shaping financial narratives.
• Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of financial performance drivers, contracts and governance.
• Proven ability to manage key stakeholders.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, results‑driven, with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, agile and commercially led environments, adapting quickly while juggling multiple priorities.
• Skilled in financial modelling and advanced Excel/PowerPoint, with experience using financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Smartview, HFM) and AI tools.
• Track record of leading and delivering transformational change projects across functions.
• Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance and FP&A.
