Cleveland House is seeking an experiencedClinical Deputy Home Manager to join our dedicatedteam.
Located in Banks, Southport,West Lancashire, Cleveland House provides residential support forup to 32 adults with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), ProgressiveNeurological Conditions (PNC), and associated complex physicalhealth needs. Situated within a residential community, our serviceoffers a safe, supportive, and homely environment where residentscan maximise their independence and quality oflife.
Our multidisciplinary teamis committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care. Frompersonal care and slow-stream rehabilitation to meaningful socialand therapeutic activities, we provide a range of services thatpromote physical, emotional, and psychologicalwellbeing.
We support individualswith:
- Epilepsy
- Communication difficulties
- Dysphagia(swallowing difficulties)
- Tracheostomy andlong-term ventilation needs
- Complex physicaldisabilities
What you’llbe doing

As Clinical Deputy Home Manager,you will work alongside the Home Manager to provide strong clinicaland operational leadership across the service. You will play a keyrole in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-qualitycare whilst maintaining compliance with regulatoryrequirements.
You will be part ofa compassionate and skilled team dedicated to helping residentsachieve positive outcomes and lead fulfillinglives.
Keyresponsibilities include:
- Supporting the Home Manager to ensure the serviceoperates effectively and consistently meets CQC regulatorystandards.
- Providing leadership, guidance, andsupport to nursing and care teams to deliver exceptionalperson-centred care.
- Working collaborativelywithin a multidisciplinary team, including Nurses, Care colleagues,Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and LanguageTherapists, and Psychologists.
- Buildingpositive relationships with residents, families, colleagues,commissioners, and external professionals.
- Leading regular team meetings and promoting open,transparent communication.
- Supporting therecruitment, induction, development, and retention ofstaff.
- Overseeing risk assessments, careplanning, and clinical governance processes.
- Conducting audits and quality assurance activities,identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting service development initiatives andimplementing best practice.
- Creating apositive working environment where staff feel valued, supported,and empowered to succeed.

To be successful, youwillhave:
Essential
- Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMCregistration.
- Strong clinical knowledge anddecision-making skills.
- Previous experience ina senior nursing leadership role.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of clinical governance, audits, riskmanagement, and regulatory compliance.
- Apassion for delivering high-quality, person-centredcare.
Desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with Acquired BrainInjury (ABI).
- Experience in tracheostomymanagement.
- Experience supporting people whorequire long-term ventilation.
- Experienceworking within neurological rehabilitation or complex caresettings.
