I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a highly regarded specialist London law firm with an excellent reputation across commercial litigation, insolvency, restructuring and director advisory work.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their Director Services team in London
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys complex litigation, direct client contact and working on high-value matters involving directors, shareholders, HNWIs, SMEs and private individuals.
The role
You will work on a varied and technically challenging caseload, and will need experience n the following areas
Director disqualification and defence
Insolvency and restructuring litigation
Shareholder and corporate disputes
Personal and corporate insolvency
Misfeasance and fiduciary duty claims
Transactions at undervalue and s.423 claims
Winding-up applications
Freezing orders and other interim applications
Complex commercial litigation
What they’re looking for
✅ 5+ years PQE
✅ Strong commercial and insolvency litigation experience
✅ Experience acting for directors and/or individuals
✅ Experience with Director Disqualification proceedings, ideally including s.17 CDDA applications
✅ Strong drafting, advocacy and litigation skills
✅ Experience with witness statements, disclosure, interim applications, mediation and trial preparation
✅ Confident dealing directly with clients
✅ Commercially minded and solutions-focused
✅ Able to manage complex matters with autonomy
✅ An interest in business development and developing client relationships
✅ Comfortable embracing modern legal technology, AI and innovative ways of working
