The OldRectory is a residential service, which is located in the villageof Brede, in East Sussex. We support 15 males and females who areautistic or have a learning disability. The service is located in asemi-rural location, surrounded by beautiful countryside. This is a full-time role working 40 hours perweek.

Our team are dedicated topromoting independence, equality, dignity and respect and as a teamwe are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone. Weprovide high quality, bespoke, meaningful activities for ourresidents both on site and in the community, tailored to meet theirindividual’s needs.

We’re looking for a CQCRegistered Home Manager who’s passionate about people and driven byexcellence in care.

You’ll lead from the front, creating a safe,welcoming and empowering home where residents can thrive. With yourleadership, your team will deliver outstanding, person-centredsupport that helps people build confidence, develop skills, andstay connected to their community.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the home with warmth, professionalism, and strongleadership, fostering a culture of care, respect, andinclusion.
  • Manage budgets, resources, andoperational processes to maintain high standards and achieveservice success.
  • Ensure the home meets alllegal, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including CQCstandards, health & safety, and licensing.
  • Oversee documentation, nursing records, and care plans,ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best practice.
  • Develop your team through training, motivation, andsupport, promoting professional growth and high-qualitycare.
  • Innovate and continually improve theservices we provide, delivering person-centred care that trulymakes a difference.
