Interim Finance Director | Real Estate | Immediate Start

We are working with a specialist real estate investment and development business looking to appoint an Interim Finance Director.

This is a senior, hands on finance role with real ownership from day one.

You will take responsibility for the finance function, manage a team of three and work closely with senior management across the business.

The role

• Financial control and management accounting
• Lender and debt provider relationships
• Governance across management companies and property structures
• Oversight of outsourced AP, payroll and SPV administration
• Improving reporting and reducing reliance on Excel
• Managing and developing the finance team

The person

• We are looking for someone with experience across real estate asset management, investment management or real estate debt.
• Broader investment management backgrounds will also be considered.
• You will need strong financial control and reporting experience, be comfortable operating at a detailed level and be able to get into the numbers rather than simply review the output.
• Jersey, Luxembourg and Ireland entity experience is not required.
• This is not a strategy focused CFO position.
• It is a hands on Finance Director role for someone who can take ownership quickly, strengthen the finance function and improve the quality of reporting and control.
