Senior Legal Officer, Children’s Social Care (Hybrid)

Leeds City Council seeks a Principal Legal Officer (PO6) to handle a substantial personal caseload primarily in Children’s Social Care law. You will advise on legal strategy, draft proceedings, and advocate in contested hearings while supporting the delivery of the council’s Best City Ambition.

Working within a dynamic Social Care Legal team, you will be supervised by a Team Leader and have opportunities for development, coaching others, and engaging with external stakeholders as required.
