Cook/Chef – Private Hospital
Location: Banbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
Contract: Temporary – full-time
Staff Partners Business are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook/Chef to work within a private hospital in Banbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for preparing high-quality food and who is comfortable working within a healthcare or similar environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, ensuring food is prepared safely and in line with relevant food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within a hospital, private healthcare setting, care home, school or similar environment, although candidates with strong catering experience from other settings will also be considered.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent – essential
- Previous experience as a Cook/Chef
- Ideally, experience within a hospital, healthcare, care home or school environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to commit to Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
Compliance
This is a healthcare environment and therefore there is a high level of compliance required before you can commence the assignment.
This will include completing a DBS check, along with the relevant employment and compliance checks.
