Reception SEND Teaching Assistant – Sutton Coldfield

An outstanding school located within Sutton Coldfield is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, to support a child in Reception on a 1:1 basis. This child is working to a lower level, and has suspected ASD. As the child is within Reception, the school require somebody with strong EYFs knowledge, and previous experience supporting children with SEND.

This is a lovely school, with extremely supportive staff.

This role is from September – July 2027.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years

Placements are subject, to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.
