n Receptionistn n Glasgow | £19 per hour | Full Timen n n I’m currently recruiting for an exciting Receptionist opportunity in Glasgow, working within a professional workplace environment where you’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues, visitors, contractors and external service providers.n n n This is a varied role that would suit an experienced Receptionist, Front of House Coordinator or Office Coordinator who enjoys providing excellent customer service and taking ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy workplace.n n n The RoleAs Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional and well-run office environment. Alongside front-of-house responsibilities, you’ll provide support across workplace operations, facilities and general administration.n n n Your responsibilities will include:n n n

  • Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues, visitors, contractors and service providers.
  • n

  • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service at all times.
  • n

  • Managing visitor access, building passes and inductions where required.
  • n

  • Responding to workplace queries and resolving issues promptly or escalating where appropriate.
  • n

  • Carrying out regular workplace checks and walkthroughs, identifying any issues and coordinating appropriate action.
  • n

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the office and ensuring workplace services run efficiently.
  • n

  • Liaising with landlords, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • n

  • Coordinating workplace and facilities services and monitoring supplier activity.
  • n

  • Maintaining accurate workplace records, registers, logs and operational information.
  • n

  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in line with company procedures.
  • n

  • Supporting audits, reporting and the preparation of management information.
  • n

  • Coordinating post, stationery, hospitality supplies and personal storage.
  • n

  • Supporting office inductions, workplace communications and colleague engagement activities.
  • n

  • Assisting with wider workplace initiatives including health and safety, sustainability and office improvements.
  • n

  • Providing flexible administrative and operational support to the wider team as required.
  • n

n n n About YouWe’re looking for someone who is professional, approachable and highly organised, with a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer service.n n n You’ll ideally have:n n

  • Previous experience in reception, front of house, office coordination, facilities, hospitality or a similar customer-facing role.
  • n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • n

  • A confident and professional manner when dealing with colleagues, visitors and external suppliers.
  • n

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • n

  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work effectively using your own initiative.
  • n

  • Good attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
  • n

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • n

  • Experience dealing with suppliers, contractors or external service providers would be advantageous.
  • n

  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving workplace issues.
  • n

  • The flexibility to support a busy team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • n
