PrioryHospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager tojoin the team on the Jubilee Ward. This is a full time position of40 hours per week. Based in theresidential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory HospitalDewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into twowards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disordersand we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older peopleand dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support forsevere and enduring mental health.
Although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, we arewell-placed to provide support to acute patients within ourdementia services, for those who require an alternative setting toan acute psychiatric ward. Admissions can also take place due toother placement breakdowns (either from their home or other careenvironment), or from prisonsettings.

As DeputyWard Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effectiveleadership and day-to-day management of the ward. Working alongsidethe Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will help drivehigh standards of clinical care, promote a positive patientexperience, and support the development of a motivated and skilledworkforce.

- Active Registrationwith the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements ofRevalidation (RMN qualified)

- Clinical Supervisionexperience essential, training desirable
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intentto maintain and develop Continued professional development andleadership
- Good computerskills
