Senior Finance Business Partner

We’re supporting a growing, PE-backed real estate business with the appointment of a Senior Finance Business Partner into its London finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key Finance Business Partner to operational and senior stakeholders across the portfolio.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, providing clear commentary around variances, risks and opportunities.
• Produce meaningful commercial analysis across revenue, costs, profitability and operational performance.
• Work closely with site teams to challenge assumptions and improve financial understanding and accountability.
• Support management with scenario analysis, planning and commercial decision-making as the portfolio grows.
• Take senior oversight of Accounts Receivable and revenue, partnering with Operations to improve cash collection and resolve more complex issues.
• Manage and develop two direct reports, ensuring strong delivery and development across the team.
• Support month-end, year-end and the annual audit, particularly around more complex revenue and accounting matters.
• Help strengthen financial processes, controls and reporting as the business continues to scale.
• Work collaboratively across a relatively lean finance team, supporting wider priorities where required.

What They’re Looking For

• Real estate/property experience is essential.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance experience.
• Proven business partnering experience with operational and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Good overall accounting knowledge alongside commercial capability.
• Previous management or development of junior team members.
• A positive, collaborative and genuinely hands-on approach.

Permanent is preferred, although a longer-term FTC could be considered for the right person.
