Title 1 Reading and Math Paraprofessional

Position Overview

The paraprofessional will work with students in the Reading and Math Intervention Groups. This role involves assisting with instruction, reinforcing skills, and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous educational experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
• Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
• Associates Degree or 48 hours of college credit or pass Para Pro

Test

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities
• Provide support to individual students or small groups
• Help reinforce academic and behavioral expectations
• Prepare instructional materials as directed
• Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
