Senior Planning & Highways Lawyer | Lead & Mentor

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking an experienced Lead Lawyer (Planning & Highways) to play a senior role in its Legal Team. You will provide high-quality legal advice on planning and highways work, supervise colleagues, and contribute to corporate projects.

You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX with a current practising certificate and at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience. Strong expertise in planning/highways law and leadership are essential.
