We are recruiting Assembly Operatives, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, Factory Operatives, Production Line Workers, and Machine Operators to join a successful and expanding manufacturing business based in Belper, Derbyshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for immediate start manufacturing jobs, weekly paid work, and genuine career progression within a modern production environment.
Whether you have experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, factory operations, machine operation, warehouse work, quality inspection, or packing, or you’re looking to develop a new career in manufacturing, full training will be provided.
Immediate starts available with inductions every Tuesday and Thursday.
Pay Rates & Career Progression
Day Shift
Starting rate: £14.05 per hour
Progressing to: £17.75 per hour
Afternoon Shift
Starting rate: £16.02 per hour
Progressing to: £19.72 per hour
Night Shift
Starting rate: £17.05 per hour
Progressing to: £20.75 per hour
Shift Patterns
Day Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30
- Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
Afternoon Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:00
- Friday: 12:00 – 18:00
Night Shift
- Sunday: 20:30 – 06:00
- Monday to Thursday: 23:00 – 06:00
Main Duties
- Assembling components and finished products to specification
- Following work instructions, technical drawings, and production processes
- Conducting quality checks and visual inspections
- Using hand tools and manufacturing equipment safely
- Packing products ready for distribution and dispatch
- Achieving production targets and KPI requirements
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
- Working collaboratively within a busy production team
Experience & Skills
Experience in any of the following roles would be advantageous:
- Assembly Operative
- Production Operative
- Manufacturing Operative
- Factory Operative
- Machine Operator
- Warehouse Operative
