I’m partnering with a leading independent private acute provider to appoint a Hospital Director for their site in Cambridgeshire.

Full site leadership — P&L, growth, quality and culture — with a board that invests rather than squeezes.

What sits on your desk:

• Full P&L ownership and the commercial performance of the hospital
• Building and protecting consultant relationships — the engine of every private acute site
• Growing self-pay, PMI and NHS partnership revenue in one of the UK’s most competitive healthcare markets
• Accountability for CQC compliance, clinical governance and patient outcomes
• Leading, developing and holding to account a multidisciplinary senior team

What they’re looking for:

• Senior operational leadership from private acute, independent or complex NHS settings
• A real commercial track record — growth you can point to and say you drove it
• Credibility with consultants from day one
• Registered Manager / CQC-facing experience, or the clear capability to hold it

The package:

Up to £100,000 basic + bonus, car allowance, private healthcare, pension and a wider benefits package.
